The most effective way to approach customers’ diversity is to apply the Rules of Customer Service: 1) find out what customers want, and 2) treat them how they want to be treated. Try to approach all interactions with a foremost desire to satisfy a customer, setting aside any of your own rigid opinions of how things should be done. Most of all, you should offer respect for the diverse behaviors and different customs among your customers, even though you may not understand them.

Part B
Although the majority of the population are Australian born, more than 75% of Australians identified with an ancestry other than Australian in the 2011 Census. About 2% of Australians come from Indigenous backgrounds and about 43% have at least one parent who has born overseas. 30% of the population were born in another country. Of the overseas born, the major countries of birth are England, New Zealand and China. About 8.5% of Australians were born in non-English speaking countries . All Australians come from over 200 birthplaces.

The major religion in Australia is Christianity with about 61% of the population identifying as Christian. This group comprises over 70 different Christian denominations with the major denominations being Catholic; Anglican; Uniting Church; Presbyterian and Reformed; and Eastern Orthodox. Other major religions represented in Australia today include Buddhism (2.4% of the population), Islam (2.1%), Hinduism (1.28%) and Judaism (0.45%).
An organization’s success and competitiveness depends upon its ability to embrace diversity and realize the benefit such as:
Increased adaptability: Organizations employing a diverse workforce can supply a greater variety of solutions to problems in service and allocation of resources. Employees from diverse backgrounds bring individual talents and experiences in brainstorming,sharing idea. A diverse collection of skills and experiences (e.g. languages, cultural understanding) allows a company to provide service to customers on a global basis.
Australia social is diverse, this is the reason that people from other countries will feel more comfortable to stay and travel in Australia because they will meet some of people who speak their languages. When A lot if diverse people come to Australia ,this will be increasing of economics rank in a global economy.
According to where they were born so they have their own technology which might help the organization or their social to develop work, relationship, or even save the organization budget .
Diverse people has different belief and culture, this is hard to judge people just what they do because this might be right for some of them and wrong for some people. People will feel to open their mine and turn to have the positive thinking, good attitude with the people who from different culture.

Diverse workforce who speak different language and , has a problem in communication with others and this cause the long term trouble for organization.
Individuals bring a number of differences to work, such as unique personalities, values, emotions, and moods. When new employees enter organizations, their stable or transient characteristics affect how they behave and perform. Moreover, companies hire people with the expectation that those individuals have certain skills, abilities, personalities, and values. Therefore, it is important to understand individual characteristics that matter for employee behaviors at work.
