Communication Plan

These are the types of meetings that will be held to communicate, report and discuss certain plans and performances during the project.

Environmental Changes

There are many ways to communicate to the stakeholders of the company effectively. However most of them will come under 3 main categories. The first category is Face-to-face communication. This is the most effective way to communicate the organisations objectives. Face-to-face communication could be face-to-face conversations, meetings and walk around management. These ways get the most attention from employees. Electronic communication is less personal and less effective than face-to-face communication Emails, messages, phone calls and website communication will not get the employees attention. The last category is by print, such as letters or employee manuals. This is often unnoticed or ignored as it is not personal and does not engage the employee.

Resource usage

Depending on the size of your business and what you want to monitor there are a number of different measuring techniques and reporting formats. These range from measuring actual amounts or rates of usage, estimates based on sample measurements through to complex calculations to meet regulatory reporting requirements on emissions.

There are several models of costing, measuring and analysis that can support your strategic decisions, business efficiency and resource usage performance.

Life cycle analysis will help you to identify the environmental, social and economic impact over the entire life of the resource. Used in your supply chain and procurement decisions it enables you to make a fair comparison between the options.

Monitoring Process

KPIs

Key performance indicators are factors which can be measured and analysed to see if there is any improvements in performance. These indicators could be money, quality or customer related factors which can be measured. KPIs are used as self-evaluations and should be used to find out how and where the company can improve.

I would monitor the systems usage by mainly looking at key performance indicators or KPI’s. Component of KPIs

Objectives – identifies what the project is meant to achieve. These are the goals of the project.

Measurement – what the company used to measure the progress and quality of the work. What types of strategies were used to measure the project’s progress.

Target – reaching the targets and goals. Identifying what tasks must be completed and when they must be completed.

Monitoring Time

Who: the manager and I are going to be monitoring the performance

When: the measurements will be taken in 6 months then 1 year

How: they are going to be recorded in the business database

Where: they will be stored in the business database

Reporting System/Product Failures and Variances

To do this, the company will implement a failure analysis. Failure analysis is the process of collecting and analyzing data to determine the cause of a failure. It is an important discipline in many branches of manufacturing industry, such as the electronics industry, where it is a vital tool used in the development of new products and for the improvement of existing products.
