    Task 3

    a)

The organisation must look at the benefits and what the product or service gives to customers. Then the organisation can determine who will benefit from the product or service the most. The marketing team would then try to identify the best ways to target specific markets based on age, income, lifestyles and culture. Attractive market segments will benefit most from the product or service.

International consumer and business markets are all different in their own ways. It is difficult to identify all the differences without segmenting the market and analysing the market in more specific segments. Segmenting international consumer markets usually involved breaking down the market into geographic, demographic, behavioural and psychographic segments. Segmenting business markets is similar to segmenting consumer markets however business markets are segmented differently. A business market would be segmented into geographic, demographic, user status, usage rates and loyalty status.

    b)

advertising – reaching out to the market using mass media to attract the attention of the market. this will be the best way to interest as many prospective clients as possible. The quality of the advertising and promoting will be the most important part in attracting the most clients.

Promotions – offering promotions for new clients will also be effective in increasing the clients. The promotions work by giving the clients benefits such as extra value. When the clients feel that the product is worth buying full price, this is when the promotions are very effective.

    c)

The price cannot be too low. Japanese will often relate low prices for low quality. The Japanese desire higher quality over lower prices. The marketing must show the product as a high quality product with an affordable price. To do this, the marketing must explain how the meats of Samex are produced naturally and with an extremely safe and high quality standard.
