Introduction:

My organisation that I chose for this assignment is the restaurant that I previously worked for. It is located in Dee Why and is very busy during lunchtime, dinner and weekends. The restaurant usually has about 7 employees working at one time and leadership is very important.

I previously worked at a Thai restaurant called Thai and I. This restaurant is located in Dee Why and is very popular during weekends. Therefore the waitresses which work as the customer service representatives of the restaurant has a very important role of keeping each customer satisfied.

    Duty of care is the obligation or requirement to provide an environment that is safe and secure. Preventing foreseeable risks and incidents from happening is a great way on making sure that the person is complying with duty of care. The employers have duty of care over customers or employees and has legal responsibility to make sure that they are treated properly.

    Privacy and Confidentiality:

    Privacy is about respecting the privacy of customers, employees, all stakeholders. Privacy is a right that is given to all people and invading the privacy of these stakeholders is a breaking the law. Confidentiality is more about keeping information confidential or private from others. Some information must be provided to the organisation but this does not mean the organisation can give the information to others without consent.
